Life’s too short, too precious to be spent regretting the past… or living like you think the world wants you to. People say live in the moment, if you don’t… life will simply pass you by. Others say plan for the future… what’s life if you don’t know where you’re going? In the end, it doesn’t matter how you choose to live life, only that you have something… a reason… a person to live it for. The sooner you find that special reason, the less people’s opinions will affect you, the easier it will be to let that which truly doesn’t matter, slide. Is bitching over gas prices, worrying over bills… or regretting what we have or haven’t done really the way our time should be spent? Ask an old guy, your grandmother… someone who’s inches away from death the one thing they regret not doing. I’d stake my life that what they say is something along the lines of how they wish they had simply lived life more for the sake of living it, and less like it was never going to end… less like the world wanted to see it lived.

University life is so different from what I am used to. I feel scared within in a new place without really knowing anyone. Even though I try to talk to my classmates in class deep down the void within gets scary. I know academically things are a lot harder but I remind myself how far I have come, how much I have grown, and most importantly how much I have accomplished. It's never about the grades but most importantly the ability to face and overcome the anxieties towards my classes. I don't care how long it will take me to get my degree, how many classes I may take a semester, but the most important thing is I am slowly moving forward to get my degree. Alhamdulillah, umur 21 saya dapat complete my degree.

As a result, I’ve noticed I worry less and less about the future, I’m having more fun and experiencing life like nothing else… because no matter what I do, where I go, or what happens to me… I always have a reason to go on living. That’s my advice, find something or someone worth living for… don’t sweat life’s trivial curve balls, and care less for what people think about you. In the end, you’ll have more fun… there’ll be less holding you back and a host of things to experience… and by the time you’re a few minutes from death… maybe, just maybe… you wont have any regrets.
My future decided, I know what I'll be. Thanks to you, University, now I'm on my way!
